Bradford Agry ’81
Bradford Agry ’81 is an assignment-driven career coach with particular strength in assessment and informational interviewing. He has worked extensively with “mid-careerists” interested in researching and evaluating new fields and industries.
Margaret Chan is an Executive Coach who works with professionals seeking career advice, making career transitions, and returning to work after career breaks. She has a 25-year career in executive search advising professionals making career transitions. Margaret has industry experience in financial services, insurance, consumer products, retail, technology, healthcare, consulting and nonprofit. She has in-depth knowledge of a broad range of functions, including general management/business heads, finance, strategy, marketing, communications, sales, operations, consulting and nonprofit development.
She had an earlier marketing career at General Foods, Citigroup and Oppenheimer Management. She earned an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University where she was in an accelerated one-year program. She holds a BS with honors from New York University. Margaret serves as a board member for the West Side YMCA, New York. She and her husband live in New York City with their two children.

His employment history includes several years as Managing Director at Right Management Consultants and Systems Staffing Officer with the Chase Manhattan Bank.
He was an instructor with the Center for Career, Education, and Life Planning at New York University from 1987-2006, and, since 2001, has been a retained consultant to Columbia Business School in Alumni Relations, Career Management, and the Program for Social Intelligence. He has appeared on CNN, CNBC, and has been a regular contributor to a wide variety of media outlets.
His first book, In Search of the Fun-Forever Job: Career Strategies That Work , was released in April, 2013.
Mr. Chase holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in English and Secondary Education, both from New York University.
Hannah Chase has worked at Columbia Business School for over nine years, both in the Career Management office as well as in the Office of Admission, where Hannah served as Associate Director. Hannah advises students and alumni on resumes and cover letters, as well as issues relating to personal branding and social media. She also works with clients on presentation and on-camera skills. Hannah teaches improvisation at the Magnet Theater, and has taught applied improvisation to start ups, educational institutions, and large firms alike. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
Roy Cohen ’85 has substantial experience as a career counselor working with sell-side and buy-side clients, i.e., investment banking, research, private equity, corporate development, hedge funds, venture capital, etc., and clients in management consulting, marketing, branding and strategy. His book, The Wall Street Professional's Survival Guide, was released by Financial Times Press in June 2010.
Liz Colodny led corporate recruitment efforts for 20 years, and then established a human resource and consulting business which has increasingly focused on coaching executives and professionals globally from all industries and functional areas. She worked in the financial services, consumer product, professional services and industrial manufacturing industries, and consulted to additional industries such as healthcare and information services. Liz also has a background in executive search and outplacement, in addition to global coaching experience at IvyExec.com and Vault.com. Her expertise includes job search strategy, effective networking, interviewing, résumé, cover letter and LinkedIn profile development, offer negotiation and on-boarding. In addition to coaching through career transitions, Liz helps clients to navigate successfully in their current environments. Francis de la Cruz '08 specializes in helping qualified candidates launch, manage, and advance their careers in investment banking. Charly’s coaching draws upon his extensive experience in banking, capital markets, derivatives, hedge funds and consulting. Charly helped found Citi’s derivatives business, and the World Bank establish its swap program. He subsequently built different capital markets businesses at First Chicago (now part of JPMorgan Chase-currency swaps), S.G. Alana Waisbrot is an experienced career coach who has been a part of the Career Management Center at CBS for the past eight years. In her most recent role as Associate Director of Career Education & Advising, she counseled MBA students on a range of career topics including self assessment, strategy planning, resume and cover letter review, interview preparation, and negotiation. She also delivered workshops and group sessions on interviewing skills, resume writing and networking. Before joining Columbia, Alana was at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, where she led the school's recruiting relationships with many leading organizations and oversaw the on-campus interview program. Prior to her roles in higher education, Alana spent several years on Wall Street as a Campus Recruiter at Lehman Brothers and as a Human Resources Representative for Citigroup's Global Banking Division.

Mitch had a long career in business journalism prior to his corporate management experiences. He was the founding publisher of TechWeb, the first technology website to sell advertising, and vice president and founder of the Internet division of CMP Media Inc., an international media company. TechWeb was valued at $350 million when CMP was sold to United Business Media.
At CMP for 17 years, Mitch was the editorial director of the company's Travel Group and founding editor of Business Travel News. He later was publisher of VARBusiness, one of CMP's leading technology magazines. He also was senior vice president of Ziff Davis Media where he published InteractiveWeek, one of the pioneering newspapers covering e-commerce.
