Leon G. Cooperman is the chairman and CEO of Omega Advisors, Inc., a private investment partnership he founded in 1991. Prior to establishing Omega Advisors, he spent 25 years with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a partner and served as chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Apart from his legendary prowess as an investor, he is known as a devoted philanthropist.

Mr. Cooperman holds a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and received his MBA from Columbia Business School in 1967. He and his wife, Toby, have two sons and three grandchildren.

The State of New York

Andrew M. Cuomo was elected the 56th Governor of the State of New York on November 2, 2010. Previously, he served as New York’s attorney general, US Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, head of the New York City Commission on the Homeless, and as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan. His notable career continues to be marked by his tireless commitment to public service, justice, and government reform.

Governor Cuomo earned his bachelor of arts degree at Fordham University and received his JD from Albany Law School. He is the father of three girls.
