Leon G. Cooperman is the chairman and CEO of Omega Advisors, Inc., a private investment partnership he founded in 1991. Prior to establishing Omega Advisors, he spent 25 years with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a partner and served as chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Apart from his legendary prowess as an investor, he is known as a devoted philanthropist. Mr. Cooperman holds a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and received his MBA from Columbia Business School in 1967. He and his wife, Toby, have two sons and three grandchildren.   Mario J.
