In 2009, Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs launched the first Entrepreneurial Boot Camp in the United States, with the program built on a design that had evolved through earlier versions of the program in Europe. In 2010, 140 teams submitted innovative new product or program ideas in the hope of securing development funding and consulting support from the company. This case presents the business plans for the six teams that were selected to present to top management and asks students to evaluate which projects have the most promise.
