The 12th Annual Columbia Business School Healthcare Conference
Welcome to the 12th annual Columbia Business School Healthcare Conference! We are excited about this year’s Program, as we bring together experts from across the full spectrum of the healthcare industry to discuss and debate the dramatic changes underway to align incentives, improve health outcomes, and “bend the cost curve”. There is a clear recognition among providers, payers, manufacturers, and policy makers that opportunities abound to create a more effective and efficient healthcare delivery and payment system, accelerated by novel technologies, business processes, and unique collaborations.
As reflected in this year’s theme: “New York at the Center of Healthcare Transformation”, the Conference will showcase the dynamic healthcare ecosystem that exists within New York City. From scientists and entrepreneurs developing novel therapeutics and technologies, to healthcare practitioners that use and prescribe them, to financiers that provide the capital needed for growth, New York is home to a robust and rapidly evolving healthcare landscape that is creating disruptive change in the industry. Through a series of speakers, panels, and a startup expo, the conference will provide attendees an insider’s look to the broad trends in healthcare and how opinion leaders and firms in New York City are driving key industry developments.
The Conference attracts practitioners and students from Columbia and other top-tier professional schools. Speakers from established healthcare organizations, emerging companies, and investment firms will present informed views on the transformative impact New York City is having on the healthcare industry. This year we have an esteemed keynote speaker, a start-up expo, and diverse panels:
Start-Up Expo: Healthcare Entrepreneurship in NYC
The Conference includes a buffet lunch and Career Fair with our prominent sponsors - leading healthcare companies, investors, and client service firms that promote healthcare business education and research.
On behalf of Columbia Business School’s Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management (HPM) Program and student-run Healthcare Industry Association (HCIA) we welcome you to this year’s exciting event! To register for this year’s event, please continue to the Registration page.
