Research

As a think tank for China-U.S. business management issues, the China Business Initiative aims to promote and publish research and provide a platform for engaging discussions among academics, practitioners and policymakers. CBI will systematically document, accumulate and disseminate cutting-edge research on China through its Working Paper Series and other publications.

Sponsored by CBI, the Best Paper Award Competition at the Conference of Overseas Chinese Scholars Association in Management Science and Engineering (OCSAMSE) is held annually each summer in China. The competition and support of the conference stimulates research and innovation in manufacturing and service operations in China and expands the study of best practices. Visit the conference website for more details on how to enter.
