Center on Japanese Economy and Business Doctoral Fellowship
If you are currently applying to or are already matriculated in a PhD program either in the Columbia Graduate School of Business or the Columbia Economics Department AND are interested in writing a dissertation on the Japanese economy or business-related topics, you are eligible for a Fellowship from Columbia Business School's Center on Japanese Economy and Business (CJEB) to support your studies.

Doctoral Research Grants and Summer Stipends
CJEB offers research grants and summer stipends for students interested in Japan currently enrolled in the doctoral programs at the Columbia Graduate School of Business or the Columbia Economics Department.
CJEB grants and summer stipends are available in amounts up to $15,000 and can be used for purposes including but not limited to:
- Intensive summer Japanese language programs
- Research trips to Japan
- Japan related data acquisition
