This course will cover deploying capital and generating returns – looking at private equity and sovereign wealth fund investing in the Middle East and North Africa region.  It is intended to offer students an opportunity for exposure to investment opportunities and challenges associated with the unprecedented wealth transfer and accumulation arising from natural resource rich economies.

A general understanding of finance, the capital markets and accounting is expected.  This course will not focus on building financial models; HOWEVER, each student team will need to have the capability to present its final paper, with financial projections.
