Global Elective Block Week 3 (June 16- 20)

Through a
combination of lectures, financial modeling, individual assignments and a final
group presentation, the course teaches the approach to investing and security
analysis pioneered by Benjamin Graham and David Dodd. The course will presents
a method of determining intrinsic value based on fundamental research and
focuses on the types of investments that are likely to be fruitful targets of a
value approach. Key topics covered are: intrinsic value; competitive advantage
and capital allocation; security analysis and research techniques; valuation and
risk; search, portfolio construction, and risk management; and, decision making
under uncertainty.
