Students will be required to do around 16 hours of online work in this course - most of this will be pre-work to be completed in advance of our first day. This includes viewing Personal Leadership videos, and engaging in online reflection/discussion with classmates. PLS Online was launched in Spring 2013 and students have universally responded positively to this approach of "flipping" the classroom, giving us more time in class for group discussions and personal integration work.
Note: There will be an offsite retreat that all students will be required to attend as part of the course (Friday, Sept. 13 to Sunday, Sept. 15). The cost for the retreat is an additional cost of $400 for a shared room. The $400 fee is non-refundable.
