About

Welcome to The Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center — one of the many centers and programs that make Columbia Business School such a dynamic place to pursue a graduate business education. The Lang Center’s mission is at the heart of the School’s mission to educate the next generation of global business leaders.

At Columbia Business School, entrepreneurial thinking — in identifying, valuing, and capturing opportunity — is an essential part of all aspects of the academic experience. In courses covering a wide range of subject areas, our faculty members teach students how to identify strategic opportunities.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center is to instill entrepreneurial thinking in all Columbia Business School students and to create a community of business practitioners with a lifelong commitment to achieving social and economic progress through entrepreneurship.

Columbia’s approach to developing the entrepreneurial mindset is both broad and deep. Entrepreneurship is fully integrated throughout the core MBA curriculum, crossing all disciplines and touching all students. For students interested in launching their own ventures, the School offers a comprehensive program of specialized courses, labs, workshops, and funding opportunities. See our calendar of events for upcoming programming.
