Columbia Business Lab (CBL)
Launched in June 2012, Columbia Business Lab (CBL) is a new initiative that will provide co-working space and various other resources for recent alumni of the Columbia Business School MBA program that are dedicated to launching successful new ventures. Columbia Business Lab is governed by a leadership board of alumni entrepreneurs with management oversight by the Lang Entrepreneurship Center. The facility, located in the trendy SOHO neighborhood, is provided by WorkSpace at Edison Properties and is funded by Columbia Business School. The program was borne out of the Dean’s Advisory Committee at Columbia Business School.
In its pilot year, the office space accommodates 21 ventures that will graduate from the program in Summer 2013. Following successful completion of the pilot program, each year new classes of CBS’ graduating entrepreneurs will be competitively selected to become part of the Columbia Business Lab. Below is a list of the current CBL entrepreneurs.
