Monday, August 26, 2013
Columbia University Campus
School of Business Uris Hall
Room 301
6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Almost without exception, students and young entrepreneurs who learn about Lean Start-up and apply for a course taught by Steve Blank at Stanford, Berkley or Columbia are skeptical that they can conduct 100 customer discovery interviews in the short span of the course.  They are even more leery of the notion that their idea for a business can be improved by talking to strangers unfamiliar with the issues surrounding their venture.

Please allow us to have Steve disabuse you of any such notions.

We invite you to join Professor Murray Low, Director of the Eugene Lang Center for Entrepreneurship at the Columbia School of Business in conversation with Steve Blank about what happens when entrepreneurs find Lean Startup religion in the middle of the Customer Discovery process.

More importantly, they will offer examples of how these inflection points lead to the creation of  more customer-relevant and valuable business models.

Immediately after the interview, three young Columbia-founded businesses will pitch Steve just as they would pitch an angel investor and talk about their own customer discovery process has validated their model and would ensure return for any investor.  Steve will, of course, be the judge of this.

Register today.
