John Berger will be speaking to the Executive MBA students attending Professor Carey’s Saturday class.  Mr. Berger is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Underwriting Officer of Third Point Reinsurance Company Ltd., a Bermuda-based specialty property and casualty reinsurer.  Mr. Berger is a highly-respected reinsurance industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, the majority of which was spent as the principal executive officer of three successful reinsurance companies, and recently completed a successful initial public offering raising $267 million.  The company completed their initial capitalization in 2011 with $784.3 million of equity capital, and commenced underwriting business in January 2012. Tenth Annual Pace Pitch Contest

The Pace Pitch Contest is based on the Elevator Pitch concept, popular in the venture capital community.
