Tuition Benefits

Columbia Business School alumni are entitled to the Alumni Tuition Benefit, which offers a 25 percent tuition benefit for you and up to four of your colleagues each year on non-degree Columbia Business School Executive Education programs lasting up to seven days*.

Columbia Business School alumni who graduated in 2008 or later have the additional tuition benefit of applying any bidding points remaining upon graduation as tuition dollars toward a non-degree Columbia Business School Executive Education program lasting up to seven days*. Each bidding point is equal to $1 of tuition and may be used to cover up to 50 percent of the program's tuition. These points are not transferable to colleagues. Bidding points are valid for 10 years after graduation and may be combined with the Alumni Tuition Benefit to cover up to 75 percent of the tuition cost for eligible programs.

Columbia University alumni, including the College and all graduate schools, are entitled to a 15 percent tuition benefit for you and up to four of your colleagues each year on non-degree Columbia Business School Executive Education programs lasting up to seven days*.

Columbia Business School Executive Education Certificate in Business Excellence holders and Certificate in a Business Specialty holders are also entitled to a tuition benefit. Certificate in Business Excellence holders receive the Columbia Business School alumni tuition benefit; Certificate in a Business Specialty holders receive the Columbia University tuition benefit.

We encourage organizations to partner with us and send cross-functional teams to our programs in order to work on specific business challenges and projects and leverage the value and impact of the program across your organization. Organizations sending four or more participants to the same session of a program are eligible for a tuition benefit. For groups of eight or more, additional opportunities for customization for a specific session of a program may be possible. Corporate pricing packages are also available for organizations looking to purchase 50 or more days of programming to be used across the open enrollment portfolio by multiple employees over an extended time period. We recognize the resource constraints of nonprofit institutions and individuals. A tuition benefit for our corporate open enrollment programs may be available for those working in nonprofit organizations and those who are self-sponsored. Each request is on an individual basis. Tuition assistance for the Senior Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals and the Developing Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals may be available. To qualify, nonprofit executives must be employed at organizations with the following qualifications:

  • 501(c)(3) status
  • Annual organizational revenue < $5MM USD
