Given such developed capital markets, why do we need social capital markets? What is social capital? What do these types of investors bring? Sir Ronald Cohen — chairman of The Portland Trust and Bridges Ventures and who has been described as both "the father of British venture capital” and "the father of social investment" — spoke about his leadership experience during his more than 40-year career in impact investing, private equity, and venture capital at the annual Stanley R. Klion Forum. Moderated by Professor Bruce Kogut, director of the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics.
