My summer internship at Disney-ABC Television Group was in the business development department focusing on strategy. My responsibilities included working with producers to run more efficiencies in terms of operations and costs for the different shows. I also worked at ABC News to develop new products to increase revenue strategy and met with Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos to discuss this strategy. 

I got the internship through networking with CBS alumni. The overall experience was great; I had an amazing time learning about the business and getting exposure to the "talent and creative" part of the industry. I also had a lot of access to executives, learned a lot about different aspects of the business like radio, and learned to work in less quantitatively-oriented environments.
