Jon Christianson is a partner in Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom’s Beijing office, where he has been located since 1999.
Mr. Christianson has extensive experience advising on a wide range of corporate transactions in China and elsewhere in Asia. This experience includes change of control M&A transactions, strategic and financial investments, IPOs, high-yield and investment grade debt transactions, project financings, and joint ventures. His clients include small startups, large corporations, state-owned companies, private equity and venture capital firms, hedge funds, and individuals.
He was named by The American Lawyer in 2006 as a “Dealmaker of the Year” for his work on bringing the first of China’s large state-owned banks to the global markets through China Construction Bank’s US $9.2 billion IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
