Evolution of Investment in China
On the evening of Tuesday, December 9, 2008, in New York City, the Columbia Business School Private Equity Program and The Asian Alumni Club of New York co-hosted a panel on The Evolution of Investment in China.

Middle Market Buyouts Symposium 2008
On January 8, Columbia Business School's Private Equity Program, together with Arthur D. Little, presented: "Middle Market Private Equity Challenge in an Economic Downturn: Assessing Investment and Value Creation Strategies"
The conference addressed the challenges of buying and operating mid-market companies in the current economic climate and featured keynote speaker Christopher O'Brien , Investcorp International, Inc. According to conference attendee, Patricia Morrill , President of Morrill Associates, "The panels were particularly good, with seasoned practitioners with hands-on experience and moderators with relevant and stimulating questions."
