Master of Science
Columbia Business School's Master of Science Programs are for students interested in more analytical and focused study in a particular area than is offered by the MBA Program, but who also prefer a shorter and more industry-oriented experience than the Doctoral Program.
The goal of the Master of Science in Financial Economics, offered by the School's Finance and Economics Division, is to provide students with the quantitative and theoretical tools for a successful career in finance. When they graduate from the two-year program, students look to a variety of potential employers, including investment and commercial banks, pension funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, consulting firms, and policy-oriented organizations.
The Master of Science in Leadership allows seasoned executives to complement their extensive real-world experience by studying the latest leadership ideas and practices.
The program combines the leadership and management courses from our world-class MBA Program with participation in Columbia Business School Executive Education’s top-ranked Columbia Senior Executive Program and a final writing project to tie all of the coursework together.
In order to accommodate executives in a variety of situations, you'll have the flexibility to complete the program in as little as eight months or as long as three years.

The Master of Science in Marketing trains students to work for any employer that relies on marketing analytics. These include consumer products companies, consulting firms, nonprofits, government, and many more. The degree is targeted to students who wish to pursue a more analytical course of study than that offered in our MBA Program.
In a competitive job market, the technical skills and expertise gained through this track, which includes the coursework component of a PhD program, become increasingly valuable. A Master of Science in Marketing provides academically distinguished students the opportunity to develop many of these skills in an intensive one-year program.
