Rolling admissions means more spots are open at the beginning of our process. If you are committed to a Columbia MBA, you should apply early, and that way you’ll get your answer early too. Check out our yearly deadlines.
GMAT, GRE, or Executive Assessment (EA) required
There is no minimum score for admission and your score is valid for up to five years from the test date.
How to submit transcripts
Scan and submit PDF versions of unofficial transcripts from each college and university attended as a registered student.
Do not send official transcripts. Official transcripts are only required if you are accepted.
There’s only one you. Use the three required essays to tell us about:

- Your long-term goals
- How being in NYC will impact your experience at Columbia

Applicants to the EMBA-New York Friday/Saturday option and EMBA-Americas are required to obtain sponsorship of time away from work from their employers. Financial sponsorship is welcome, though not required.
Applicants to the EMBA-New York Saturdays-only option are not required to obtain employer sponsorship of any kind, though it is welcome. Learn more about EMBA sponsorship requirements.

Tuition and Financial Aid

If you are a current member of the armed forces, Teach for America, Teach for India, or are in the Peace Corps, you are exempt from the application fee.

Interviews are by invitation only and are usually conducted by our staff on campus. Relax, be yourself, and let your passion shine through. Within a week, the admissions team will inform you via e-mail (and on your application status page) once your application is on its way to the final stage of the review.
