PSI: Advanced Leadership

This set of Program on Social Intelligence activities helps second-year Columbia Business School MBA students further develop leadership skills in their roles as peer advisors and club leaders. The activities are composed of two separate components, each relevant to a particular student leadership role. Peer advisors receive intensive leadership training prior to orientation and have extended opportunities during orientation to foster mentoring relationships with several study groups. Students in club leadership positions have the option to participate in a series of workshops offered by Management Division faculty members and outside consultants. Topics include conflict management, influence strategies, and additional topics suggested by club leaders. Both components help students develop leadership skills that will continue to serve them well as they continue their careers after graduation.
