For on-campus interviews, recruiters should check in at the reception desk in 206 Uris Hall 30 minutes before their first interview. At the height of recruiting season, interviews may also be held at other locations on campus. The Career Management Center will notify recruiters the day before their scheduled interviews if it will be necessary to check in at a location other than Uris Hall.
The Career Management Center staff will distribute a copy of final schedules and the current version of each candidate’s résumé. Recruiters should bring a business card for our file.
Columbia provides a complimentary lunch, or recruiters may choose to eat off campus at their own expense. Bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, and soda are available throughout the day in our Recruiters’ Lounge.
If you are new to recruiting at Columbia Business School you may want to consider participating in the CMC's Career Forum
You can participate in a Career Forum in lieu of a standalone corporate presentation if you are interviewing on-campus for full-time or internship positions. It offers firms an opportunity to meet many students in an informal and interactive "career fair-style" setting prior to application deadlines.
