Class of 2003: Class Notes

Gillian Fein (gillian@lalalunchbox.com)
Gillian Fein created and launched LaLa Lunchbox, a new app for the iPhone. Within one month, it became a top 10 app, receiving favorable reviews from the New York Times, Maria Popova and Swiss-Miss.com, among others.
LaLa Lunchbox is a fun and easy way for parents and kids to plan and pack lunch. The app is designed to empower kids and save money and time. Parents can find out more about it at www.lalalunchbox.com.
Gillian spent nearly a decade working in healthcare. She left that world to start up LaLa Lunchbox and to spend more time with her two (soon to be three) children.
Sophia Gushee (sophia@thesfile.com)
Sophia Ruan (now Sophia Ruan Gushee) has launched the Web site "The S File: What I Wish I Knew Sooner" at www.thesfile.com where she shares what she wishes she had known earlier in the areas of health, pregnancy, parenting and running a household. Convinced that she wanted to make the healthiest possible choices and purchases for her home, Sophia was overwhelmed by how much research was required to find safe products and by how expensive healthier living has become. As she experiments with healthier living, Sophia is sharing her findings on the site. She's looking for contributing writers and can be reached at sophia@thesfile.com. Sophia and her husband live in New York City with their two daughters, Taylor (3) and Bordley (7 months), and their goldendoodle, Lola.
