Alexandra G. Goelet MBA ’08

Alexandra G. Goelet is the Director of Special Projects at the Open Space Institute (OSI). OSI protects scenic, natural, and historic landscapes to ensure public enjoyment, conserve habitats, and sustain community character. It achieves its goals through land acquisition, conservation easements, regional loan programs, fiscal sponsorship, creative partnerships, and analytical research.

Alix is a native New Yorker who graduated from Middlebury College in 2000 with a major in history. She subsequently worked as an investment banking analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. before pursuing an MBA with a focus on Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School. After graduating, she worked as an intern in the Oceans Program at the Natural Resources Defense Council before joining OSI.

She serves on the board of Earthwatch Institute, an environmental organization that supports scientific field research, experiential education and conservation.
