WIN Competition : Sponsoring and Supporting Women in Investing

This will be the second year that Columbia Business School in conjunction with the Heilbrunn Center has sent a team to pitch at Cornell’s Women in Investing Conference.  Last years’ team, current second-year students, held a Q&A as well as 1:1 mentoring sessions with interested first-years in preparation for the pitch event with Capital Group.

First-year students Caroline Janin, Ekaterina Kosheleva, Preeta Ragavan, and Olya Shepova represented Columbia Business School at this year’s Women in Investing Conference in Boston on November 15-16.

These four team members were selected amongst eight first-year women.  In teams, the women delivered a six-minute stock pitch presentation and engaged in a nine-minute Q&A session with two judges from Capital Group.
