The Alumni Relations team looks forward to working closely with you to highlight your club’s events and programs.
Alumni club events are welcome in our bimonthly event round-up e-mails. These e-mails are distributed to all alumni on the first Wednesday of each month and to tri-state area alumni on the third Wednesday of each month. Events submitted to the round-up will automatically be included on the alumni events calendar. Please use the online event submission form to add your club event to the round-up e-mails.
Alumni club events will be featured on the alumni events calendar at a club’s request. Calendar submissions should follow the same format as event round-up e-mail submissions and are accepted on a rolling bases.
If you are interested in obtaining a Columbia Business School branded tablecloth for your club events or if you would like to request branded gifts for speakers or event hosts, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org; please note that gift availability is dependent on Alumni Relations stock, event suitability, and number of requested gifts.
Alumni Club Leader Discussion Group
Columbia Business School’s alumni website offers a listserv for current CBS club leaders. All clubs leaders are automatically subscribed. To reach with your fellow club leaders, bcc email@example.com. We recommend utilizing this list to connect with your fellow club leaders about events/programs, questions you may have, difficulties you may be encountering that may also be impacting another club, or other ideas.
The School is always on the lookout for new social media content. If you would like to discuss having your club’s event featured on one of the School’s official social media channels, please e-mail Lauren Saxton, assistant director of Alumni Relations, at firstname.lastname@example.org. We recommend, wherever possible, including event photos to make your social media post as compelling as possible.
The School’s official social media channels include Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, and YouTube. The Alumni Relations team also manages a flickr account; if you would like photos from your club’s programming added to the flickr page, please e-mail email@example.com.
If you are promoting your event on your own personal or club-related social media, we suggest using any of the School’s hashtags: #CBSAtTheCenter, #CBSAlum, or #WhyCBS. There are also temporary hashtags used in conjunction with events, including #CBSReunion and #ColumbiaGivingDay.
