PieSky Ventures, the venture capital arm of a top US business school, is evaluating which of four businesses to invest in. It needs to act quickly since rival VC firms have also approached the firms. The four businesses, none in competing industries, are each operating at different development stages. In this case students examine the operations, start-up costs, sales potential, and executive teams of the four businesses to determine which business represents the best investment choice.
