Sunrise Ventures, a company that marketed and delivered a new line of nutritional ready-to-eat breakfast and lunch products and was voted an audience favorite by the Venture Forum audience, was now seeking venture capital funding. After nine presentations, the CEO and COO received two offers from venture capital firms; the firms appeared to be equally supportive investors and equally suited for Sunrise’s needs. In this case, students are asked to analyze the terms of both offers and decide which one is the best deal for Sunrise.
