Unlike many other countries, the United States does not regulate drug prices—and in 2015 drug prices there typically ran 1.5 to 3 times higher than those in other developed countries. This case asks students to analyze an actual health assessment tool for Harvoni®, a drug to treat Hepatitis C, in order to determine the best recommended pricing for this new product.
