Daniel Sands is currently visiting Columbia Business School as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. His primary appointment is Assistant Professor at University College London in the Strategy & Entrepreneurship Group within the UCL School of Management. Daniel’s research focuses on how factors outside the boundaries of the firm can affect the production and distribution of value in markets. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategy and Organization Theory from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. Prior to NYU, he completed a M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences at Columbia University, and as an undergraduate at the University of Arizona he earned a B.A. and B.S. quadruple majoring in Economics, Political Science, Accounting, and Finance.
