Biography

James Wu is a Director for Experienced Professional and Career Management in the Career Management Center. James advises Executive and Full-Time MBA students on all aspects of career development and management. He enjoys leveraging his analytical and consulting mindset to detect patterns in people's stories and craft unique narratives that are consistent with their identity. Prior to joining the Business School in July 2017, James worked at Deloitte Consulting for eight years, where he focused on strategy projects in the high tech and human capital space and led numerous internal talent development/coaching programs. James holds a B.A. from Yale and an MBA from Columbia Business School, during which he worked as a CMC Fellow and led Management Consulting Association as the J-Term President. James is from Taipei. He is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and is a professional powerlifter and bodybuilder.
