Maura Claire Harford is an education and business strategy consultant. As an independent consultant, Maura Claire has provided customized curriculum and business strategy solutions to corporate clients including Goldman, Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase, Blockchain Investment Group, Discovery Communications, MTV Networks, Institutional Investor and The Institute of Management and Administration. Nonprofit clients have included Planned Parenthood, Columbia Business School, Columbia Senior Executive Education Program, YWCA-DCA and the Maryland State Department of Education. Maura Claire also served as a Project Specialist for The Ford Foundation, working on a national inner city education reform initiative that mobilized resources from the both the private and public sectors to bring widespread change across public schools in the United States.
Maura Claire received her MBA from Columbia Business School, where she also served for five years as an Adjunct Professor and Consultant, team teaching Calculus and Applied Math for Business, Management of Group and Interpersonal Dynamics and Corporate Communications. She earned an MA in Education and an EdM in Neuroscience and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She also completed an MS degree in Early Childhood Special Education at Johns Hopkins University. Maura Claire completed her undergraduate studies in English Literature and Political Science at Barnard College, Columbia University.
