Michael Robinson is a Director in Admissions. Michael leads strategic efforts centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion, and spearheaded outreach efforts to expand the Business School's presence in Africa and Southeast Asia. Michael also manages relationships with non-profit partners. Prior to joining the Business School in August 2002, he was an entrepreneur and had a seven-year stint running a music publicity firm with clients such as the platinum-selling Grammy winner Shaggy. He holds a B.B.A. from Baruch College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Michael is from Ottawa, Canada. He grew up in Jamaica before immigrating to the U.S. as a teenager. He remains a 1990's hip-hop head. Michael is a mentor and informal adviser to women and young people of color.
