Michael Malone is the Associate Dean for MS. and PhD. Programs. Michael creates improvements and innovations to the experience for students enrolled in the MS and PhD programs, connecting faculty, staff, students, and alumni around initiatives designed to enhance student education in and out of the classroom. Prior to his current position, Michael served as the Associate Dean for MBA and EMBA Programs at the Business School and Director of Career Education and Advising for the Career Management Center. Michael previously served as the Managing Director for the Career Management Center at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and has worked in student-facing roles at UC Berkeley, American University, Stevens Institute of Technology and Brookdale Community College. He holds a BA from Fordham University and an MSEd from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. Michael is originally from Yonkers, New York and enjoys being an Alumni Admissions and Career Volunteer for the University of Pennsylvania. He is also an avid reader of early 20th century women authors and is an occasional 5K/10K runner, road cyclist and hiker, lifelong New York sports fan, and trivia enthusiast.
