Tomas is Chief Risk Officer and member of the Executive Group at C. Hoare & Co., which is the United Kingdom’s oldest independently owned private bank and the fifth oldest bank in the world. Previously Tomas held senior risk management roles at Threadneedle, GAM, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and AllianceBernstein — all based in London. While based in New York, he held senior roles at General Motors Asset Management, DTCC, and Citigroup. Tomas was a founding member of the U.K. Investment Management Association’s Operational Risk Working Group and its Risk and Regulation Committee. He received his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he currently serves on the advisory board of The Jerome A. Chazen Institute of International Business, and is also a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers College, where he received a BA in Economics and Spanish.
