Fuad Sawaya '86

Managing Partner, Sawaya Partners
New York

For over three decades, Fuad has invested his passion, energy and experience helping to guide many of the most respected consumer companies in the US and Europe with strategic advice, portfolio maximization and value-creating solutions.

Prior to founding Sawaya Partners, Fuad led JP Morgan’s Middle Market Consumer Products Group. He began his career at PaineWebber, Inc. (now part of UBS), spending 14 years first in the Mergers & Acquisitions department and later, heading up its Consumer Products Banking Group.

Sawaya Partners, now in its 18th year, is rigorously client-centric, not deal-centric, driven by a deep, emphatic understanding of what drives its clients’ businesses and what drives them as people.  Fuad and his consumer healthcare team have completed more than 40 transactions in the space representing leading industry players such as Bayer AG, Johnson & Johnson, Church & Dwight and Prestige Brands, among others.  Recent successes have included transactions involving Coppertone, Dr. Scholl’s, RoC, Moberg Pharma, Nizoral and Compeed, among others.

Fuad is an active speaker at conferences in the consumer healthcare space in the US and Europe.

Sawaya Partners is based in New York City. Its website can be found at www.SawayaPartners.com.
