Columbia en el Campo
Columbia Business School, together with Grupo Los Grobo, designed an online and free program, for agro-business professionals in Latin American rural areas, to talk about global issues that affect their agricultural practices. The program was broadcasted in different locations and was also available for remote participants through video-conference. The sessions were held in Spanish. Between 80-100 people participated on the program and the feedback has been very satisfactory.
The sessions were as follows:

September 9 - CLIMATE CHANGE – Effects on Agriculture
Walther Baethgen – Director of Latin American Region Research Program at the Earth Institute, Columbia University
September 17 - COMMODITIES– Raw materials’ global context
Arturo Porzecanski – Economist, specialized in emerging markets and Latin America. Professor of Residence at School of International Service, American University
