Important dates should be kept in mind while planning events. On dates when the school is closed, CBS rooms will be blocked from allowing for room reservations. Off campus events can still be planned and promoted through the OrgSync system.

  • See student blackout dates above. No student events should be hosted on these dates.
  • Tables are now available for reservation in Uris via OrgSync for the 1st Floor.
  • Please delete all past draft event requests in your queue.
  • Make sure that the on-campus button has been clicked if your event is on-campus, otherwise, your event will be viewed as TBD for its location.
  • Make sure that the room you choose has actually been selected before clicking the create event button.
  • Double check that your event appears in your event list, as well as in 25Live.
  • Please release rooms if your event has been canceled or if you no longer need the space.

Programming Times & Black Out Dates

  • Club programming begins on Friday, September 14th
  • Club programming ends on Friday, December 7th

Club programming can take place during the following time frames:

  • Before 9AM and after 5:45PM: Monday- Thursday
  • 12:30PM- 2:00PM: Tuesday & Thursday
  • All Day (Uris Business Hours): Friday- Sunday

Fall 2018 Blackout dates are as follows:

  • Thursday, 9/20: School-wide CBS Matters
  • Thursday, 10/4, 12:30PM-2PM: Dean Hubbard All Community Town-Hall
  • Monday, 10/15- Tuesday, 10/23: Study Day, Exams and Break
  • Monday, 11/5- Tuesday, 11/6: Election Day Break
  • Wednesday 11/21- Friday, 11/13: Thanksgiving Break
  • Wednesday, 11/28 after 5:45PM: Holiday Party for Kids
  • Thursday, 12/6 after 2PM: Follies

Note that club board meetings may take place outside of club programming hours but are not considered excused absences nor should they interfere with academic priorities.
