Chairman of M&A for the Americas, Morgan Stanley
Michael J. Boublik is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, Chairman of the Mergers and Acquisitions practice in the Americas and serves on the management committee of the Investment Banking Division, based in New York. Since joining Morgan Stanley as an associate in 1989, Mr. Boublik has executed a broad range of financial advisory assignments including buyside, sellside, merger, special committee, restructuring and defense mandates. Mr. Boublik has established a particularly focused area of expertise in the fields of healthcare, general industrial sectors, as well as in technology. Over his years at Morgan Stanley, he has executed in excess of 100 transactions, and serves as a senior relationship manager for a number of the Firm’s most notable clients. His M&A Transaction experience highlights include significant M&A mandates for companies including Abbott Laboratories, AbbVie, American Airlines, AmeriSource Bergen, Biomet, Cardinal Health, CareFusion, CIGNA, Eli Lilly, Fortune Brands, HCA Inc., Kimberly-Clark, KKR, Lucent, Morgan Stanley, Novartis, PepsiCo, Pfizer, Texas Instruments, United Technologies and Young & Rubicam. Mr. Boublik received an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University. He resides in Manhattan with his wife, Mimi, and their three children, Ella, Sofia and Milo. He serves as a member of the board of directors of the Children’s Museum of Manhattan.
