DreamSpark is a Microsoft initiative to enable students, faculty and staff to be innovative with access to a suite of professional software design and development tools available at no charge. The Business School and Columbia University participate in this program and are currently subscribed to several software products, including the Expression product suite. View the complete list of software catalog here. ITG recommends the use of Expression and Visual Studio tools for developing and managing your web sites.

Students can easily create their personal DreamSpark account and install available software tools. During account creation, use your Columbia University UNI email account(for example, xyz1234@columbia.edu) and specify Columbia University as your participating institution. Administrative rights to your computer is required to install software. If required, contact your ITG support specialist for assistance in installing the desired software.

Faculty and administrative staff can participate in this program and access the software by contacting their respective ITG support specialist.
