Leadership Lab Fellows

The Leadership Lab Fellows Program is designed to further engage MBA and EMBA students who are interested in leadership development opportunities. During students’ first two semesters, they will fulfill the below noted criteria in order to become a Leadership Lab Fellow. Eligible MBA and EMBA students will be contacted by Leadership Lab at the end of their second semester regarding applying for the Fellows program for their second year.

Requirements for becoming a Leadership Lab Fellow (to be completed during students' first two semesters): 

  • Attend at least two Leadership Lab events
  • Complete a Leadership Lab coaching session. This is through the LEAD course for MBA students, and the Leadership & Organizational Change course for EMBA students. 
  • Additionally, meet at least one of the following items:
    • Take at least one Leadership-related elective course during your first two semesters (such as The Leader’s Voice, Managerial Negotiations, Leading Diversity in Organizations, Think Bigger, and Personal Leadership & Success) *EMBA students may take the Leadership-related elective during their third semester as well
    • Participate as a Peer Advisor, CMC Fellow, or Chazen Leadership Fellow
    • Hold a leadership position in a student organization
    • Complete an independent study with a Management Division faculty member
    • *EMBA students may attend a third Leadership Lab event in lieu of the above four options for the final criterion

The benefits to Leadership Lab Fellows include:

  • A free additional coaching session. All MBA students have the opportunity for a free second coaching session during their second year. Fellows may take advantage of an additional session any time during their second year.
  • Priority sign-up for Author Talks and Workshops.
  • One free Action Learning Venture. Action Learning Ventures are off-campus events such as rock climbing, dinner duel cooking challenge, and ropes course.
  • Recognition as a Leadership Lab Fellow on Leadership Lab’s website.
  • Opportunities to present at Leadership Lab events. This may include introducing speakers, or leading the debrief discussions after events.
  • And more!
