Professor Marshall Meyer of the Wharton School of Business explored the internationalization of Chinese firms in his March 30 presentation, “Which Way through the Open Door?”. Practitioners, students and faculty members in attendance lent different perspectives, while Professor Charles Calomiris, the Chazen Institute’s academic director, moderated. The China-International Business Seminar, a joint effort by the School of International and Public Affairs and Columbia Business School, was founded in 1982 by the late Professor NT Wang. Among its attendees are faculty members and select graduate students, as well as members of the business community, the media and government.
