Private Equity Program Guest Speakers 2021-22
The PE Program welcomed guest speakers, many who were able to visit our Manhattanville campus for the first time.
The Private Equity class sessions taught by Donna M. Hitscherich `90 this past year included case studies with Professor Ellen Carr, Jeff Lipsitz `03 from Cortec Group (Community Veterinary Partners), Kiran Rao `06 from Vista Equity (Chobani) Tao Tan `11 from Health Care SPAC (Cases available at Columbia Caseworks), Jeff Mizrahi `09 and Jon Schilowitz `12 from MFG Partners (Dynacast), David Shiffman `94 from PJ Solomon (Skull Candy )
The weekly Private Equity Program Breakfasts speakers introduced our students to all aspects of the PE eco-system with one of the breakfasts partnered with Executives in Residence featuring Gary Appel `77, Alfred H. Drewes `82 and Douglas L. Maine.
We also partnered with the Chazen Institute for an event with Guarav Dalmia `90 of the Dalmia Group and acknowledge all of the guest speakers at the CBS PE Club Annual PE Conference on February 4, 2022
