Tom Monaco manages the team that oversees the delivery of career services to working professionals—alumni and Executive MBA students—at Columbia Business School. He advises alumni and students on all aspects of career management and professional development and facilitates workshops and events. In his more than 15 years at Columbia Business School he has held numerous roles in admissions and career management, including working with international students on the job search and career development. Mr. Monaco has worked with recruiters to help connect them to the School's talent pool and helps them to develop effective recruitment strategies for finding top talent from Columbia Business School.
Mr. Monaco worked for almost 10 years in accounting and finance in New York, on the audit staff of Ernst & Young and then for Bear Stearns Mortgage Capital Corporation. His international experience includes work in microfinance and international development for Mondo Challenge, a UK-based NGO in Tanzania.
Tom holds a master’s degree in education from The Ohio State University, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University.
