Mr. Pablo Slutzky is the winner of the 2016 BlackRock Applied Research Award.

BlackRock Applied Research Award which recognizes the top job market paper submitted by PhD candidates on a practical topic pertaining to financial markets, economics, investment management or risk management. Each finalist met with a jury panel to defend their job market paper at BlackRock’s New York office on November 30, 2016.

Mr. Arpit Gupta is a winner of the Copenhagen Business School’ s 2016 AQR Top Finance Graduate Award.

The AQR Top Finance Graduate Award at CBS recognizes the most promising finance PhD graduates in 2016. Specifically, the award recognizes the graduates specializing in financial economics pursuing degrees in any field of study, e.g. business or economics, whose dissertation and broader research potential carry the greatest promise of making an impact on the finance practice and academia. We congratulate Arpit on his accomplishment.

Ethan Rouen wins Deloitte Doctoral Fellowship in Accounting

The Deloitte Foundation has awarded $25,000 grants to 10 top accounting Ph.D. candidates through the Deloitte Foundation’s annual Doctoral Fellowship program. Given to students who plan to pursue academic careers upon graduation, the award will support the 2015 recipients’ final year of coursework and the subsequent year to complete their doctoral dissertation.
