On Thursday October 11th, the Paul Milstein Center and the EMBA program co- hosted the first EMBA/MBA Real Estate overview panel.
In an effort to offer EMBA students opportunities to meet and network with Real Estate professionals, as well as mix with MBA students, staff from the Milstein Center and the EMBA program organized a panel of real estate alums who are currently working in various sectors of the industry.
Despite the torrential rains that evening, students had the opportunity to listen to seven highly accomplished alums discuss their career trajectories and offer insights on current market trends and job search advice.
Panelists included: Peter Gordon ’01, Executive Director in the Fixed Income Division (FID) of Morgan Stanley, Mark Green EMBA ’06, co-Head of CMBS Capital Markets in the U.S. Real Estate Finance Group at UBS Securities LLC, Rob Klein ’04, Vice President at MJC Associates LLC, a real estate investment advisory firm and merchant banking fund, Annelise Osborne ’03, a Vice President and Senior Analyst at Moody's Investor Service in the Structured Finance Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Group, Brian Steinwurtzel ’04, a principal at Newmark Knight Frank, Yasmine Uzmez ’01, a Vice President in the New York office of CB Richard Ellis' and Henry Waller ’05, Senior Project Manager at Toll Brothers responsible for sales and construction of the Hudson Tea project in Hoboken.
Following the panel, EMBA hosted a wine and cheese reception, and students had an opportunity to chat with the panelists.
