The Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate is pleased to announce that Federica Burelli ’20 has been awarded a scholarship and mentorship package by the organization WX, New York Women Executives in Real Estate. As part of her award, she will be given the opportunity to participate in WX monthly breakfasts, annual dinner, and its prestigious mentoring program. Federica focused her MBA studies on real estate and also served as the Co-President of the school’s Real Estate Association.
WX is an invitation-only association of senior-level women in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry. Its mission is to promote the advancement of women in the commercial real estate industry. Since launching its scholarship program in 2004, WX has awarded over $1 million in scholarships to more than 300 women at 17 universities and colleges.
Federica Burelli is pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Finance at Columbia Business School. Upon graduation, she will be joining the New York Development group at Boston Properties where she has been interning since last summer. Prior to CBS, she spent 8 years at Clark Construction Group. Federica began her career working in field supervision and project management on ground-up multi-family residential projects. She then transitioned into Preconstruction Services focusing on budgeting, estimating and purchasing. Most recently, she was the Senior Project Manager on Midtown Center DC, a $231M core & shell office building (Fannie Mae Headquarters) that delivered under an accelerated schedule of 2.5 years. At CBS, Federica is a Real Estate Circle Fellow and serves as Co-President of the Real Estate Association. Federica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a certificate in Architectural Engineering from Duke University.
