Abstract
In this section of Quantitative Models and Methods: A Tour of the Social Sciences, the authors discuss several different theories used to explain decisions and behavior. Some of these theories are more quantitative than others, and it is important to understand under what circumstances such theories can be tested. This issue arises in all the social sciences.
