Wedding Vows and Chinese Economic Growth

One surprising factor could make all the difference in China's economic growth over the next decade: the oversupply of single men in the marriage market. Professor Shang-Jin Wei, director of the Jerome A. Chazen Institute of International Business at Columbia Business School, explains how gender imbalance will affect China's trade surplus.
